Delete your CulDeChat account

You can delete your CulDeChat account and its data at any time.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open CulDeChat and go to Account.
2. Tap Delete my account (below Sign out).
3. Type DELETE and tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted right away.

Without the app

If you can't sign in or no longer have the app, email us from the same email address you use to sign in to CulDeChat:

• To: support@culdechat.app
• Subject: Delete my CulDeChat account

We'll confirm by replying to that address, then delete the account within 30 days (usually much sooner). We only act on requests from the email address on the account, so nobody else can delete it.

What's deleted

• Your profile, display name, and badges
• Your home and second address, including their exact locations
• Your posts, comments, and Helpful marks
• Your conversations and messages (they disappear for the other person too)
• Your Around Town suggestions, notifications, and notification settings

What's kept

• Reports other people made about you are kept for safety, without your name attached.
• If an account was closed because the person is under 18, we keep only a one-way code made from the email address (not the address itself) so the same email can't sign up again.
• Emails you sent to support stay in our support inbox as a record of the conversation.
• Copies in backups are removed within 30 days.

Paid plans bought through the App Store or Google Play must be canceled there; deleting your account doesn't cancel them.
